Rick Warren: CFR Stooge

This explains a lot. In Joseph Farah’s WorldNetDaily column about Rick Warren’s trip to Syria, he quotes a response from Warren to one of Farah’s questions:

He let me know he is a close friend of President Bush ”and many, if not most, of the generals at the Pentagon.”

He also told me he did not tape anything while in Syria, ”because it was a courtesy call, like I do in every country.”

Warren explained that he had also counseled with the National Security Council and the White House, as well as the State Department, before his little courtesy call for a neighbor.

”In fact,” Warren added, ”as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Oxford Analytica, I might know as much about the Middle East as you.”

That explains so much. Warren’s purpose is to carry water for the one-world CFR crowd. Any professing Christian who doesn’t understand the prophetic implications of one world government is not a Christian at all.

Run, don’t walk, from the Purpose Driven Pastor.

  1. “Any professing Christian who doesn’t understand the prophetic implications of one world government is not a Christian at all.” I agree with you about the CFR link but you cannot say what you say in the quote above. It is the Lord who knows who is His and it is not up to you to pass judgement on the saved status of others – indeed, you do not have the power to make any difference in this respect. However, perhaps you are just trying to strengthen your argument:). On a better note, Warren’s day of being exposed seems to be arriving and I reckon the fallout will be immense with salutory lessons learned, hopefully, by those ‘christians’ who have fallen for the easy-peasy worldly gospel of warren.

  2. Richard: Good point. While I can certainly question the salvation of someone whose fruit seems to come from the wrong vine, I should avoid absolutes.

Sadly, however, Barack Obama seems to have received a very warm reception at Saddleback. Is Warren leading a Christian church or a cult of personality?

  3. I just wish to make Brazil heard on this one:

I am a “long-time” Christian from Brazil who spent many years in the “Land of the Brave”! It just came to my knowledge the quotations about Mr. Warren’s said involvement with the CFR. First off, why would he affirm that…even if he is a member. It is definitely not something to be proud of…or to brag about. Even worst for an almost-larger-than-life Christian leader. Even though all the CFR’s secrecy remains undercover, it does not take much to start digging up dirt on those guys…illuminati connections, the bilderberg club…one only needs to “want” to look.

Personally, I have seen quite a few “men of God” fall flat on their faces…only to provide “ill testimony” to this already decaying world. And that is what bothers me….life testimony. We are called to be in the likeness of Christ…in every way possible…through the Holy Spirit’s enabling power. I won’t even get started on how that resonates terribly for “true” Christianity as a whole.

Here in Brazil, many churches are following and applying Mr. Warren’s teachings. Even to the point of concern. I have only read bits and pieces of his works…but I know people who have read them over and over again. What kind of message is he trying to convey? Why such dichotomy? It is so difficult sometimes to pick the good out of the bad. And Brazilians are definitely not paying attention to the world around them.

I discussed this matter with people I trust and whose opinions I highly respect. And all of them (who have read some of Mr. Warren’s work and have practice them in their churches) cannot fathom the idea that such a “man of God” could be involved with one of the darkest and filthiest organizations in place today. They mention the “fruit” that Mr. Warren yields…! They have seen the “purpose driven life” at work and they have seen positive results. For many it is even impossible that such thing would be even partly real.

As commentator Richard pointed out….maybe Mr. Warren’s time to have his hidden deals unearthed is just around a sad street corner.

Sad because we did not need anymore scandals in the life of the church. Sad because all that matters is our life testimony…we are the only ones that can mess that up. And many of us do…mess that up…PUBLICLY…just to make the preaching of the gospel a bit harder to continue on. Just so more people can look at Christians as a bunch of liars…with no substance in their faint speeches.

I don’t see it fit to discuss where Mr. Warren will spend eternity….that is God’s to handle. The only thing I know is that today’s greatest American Christian Leader is “admittedly” involved with a N.W.O. (spells New World Order) organization that is doing nothing more than “preparing and paving” the way for the coming of Lucifer’s own son……
