This little bill didn’t get my attention when it was first proposed back in February: Three Democratic congressmen (Hoyer, Sabo, Pallone) and one Republican (Sensenbrenner) have proposed repealing the 22nd amendment. That’s the one that limits the president to two terms in office.
Now, why would they do that? Is Bill planning a comeback?
The bill is in the Judiciary Committee where it will presumably stay–unless the Republicans are going to try to elect G.W. a third time.
